   Purchase a real plan

   We sign up and pay for every provider ourselves. No vendor-supplied test accounts, no free trial carve-outs. If a plan has bandwidth limits, session caps, or metered overages, we hit them the same way a customer would.

   Run structured traffic

   Each provider gets the same test harness: concurrent requests to e-commerce checkouts, search engines, social feeds, and ad-verification endpoints over a 3-to-5-day window. We rotate between sticky and rotating sessions to stress both modes.

   Log everything

   Every request is timestamped and recorded: status code, response time, assigned IP, geo-lookup result, and whether the target served real content or a CAPTCHA wall. Raw numbers go into the scoring, not gut feel.

   Verify pricing at the source

   We pull pricing directly from each provider's live checkout, not cached marketing pages. If a provider changed plans since our last review, the article gets updated within the month.
